We will be showcasing 10 short films that the students of EYCCP developed, wrote, acted, directed, produced, and edited in just 8-Weeks!! This is an event that you do not want to miss as we will be having a Red-Carpet Premiere with amazing catering! Please Join us Wednesday, 6pm on September 27th at The Carver’s JO LONG THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS!
The Eastside Youth Content Creators Program (EYCCP @ACS), is a new media arts program for Students! This nine-week summer program takes students from the earliest stages of content creation to the completion of their own video projects. EYCCP at ACS ran June 20th- August 10th with Classes – Mondays through Thursdays from 9 AM-2 PM.
“As a former math teacher and Professor, I understand the importance of using content creation for learning and expressing your ideas,” stated District 2, City Councilman Jalen McKee- Rodriguez. “The content creation industry is very powerful, and I was happy to champion this program alongside Alamo City Studios because I know digital content will allow these students to uplift their voices online and not only change their lives, but their families’ lives, and ultimately our community. I look forward to seeing the great work they will do over the course of the program.” Other champions of the program include Commissioner Tommy Calvert and The San Antonio Film Commission.
