It’s also highly approachable! With the right training, anyone can learn the tools that empower improvisers to quiet the mind, listen attentively, and respond honestly.

Improv 101 | The Fundamentals

Improvisational theatre training builds communication skills, practices meaningful connection and provides tools for acting that is authentic and alive. Accessible to absolute beginners. Challenging to experienced performers. This course will introduce you to our “honest” style of performance and prepare you to:

• Get scenes started grounded with a strong foundation.
• Connect with fellow actors.
• Play intelligently.
• Make choices without fear.
• Get out of your head and have fun!

• 8-Week Course, meeting once a week
• Saturdays from 3:00 PM ‒ 6:00 PM
• Culminates in a graduation show at Alamo City Improv
