MEETING TOPIC: Getting Past the Gatekeepers
Whether submitting your script to a writing contest, agent, or producer,
you need your work to make the best impression possible. We’ll review
the most common script problems that readers encounter as they decide
which scripts will hit the reject pile or will move on to the next
level. Learn to spot and fix these problems and you’ll be ahead of the
game.

For any members who have begun the “Write your Screenplay in 2017”
project with us (or would like to), bring your script logline and/or
beat sheet for feedback, and we’ll talk about the next step — a
synopsis.
