This seminar will focus on what goes into a story, how to identify story and character problems, how to develop the story, and how to talk to and engage the writer with feedback.
Many times after a writer completes a script it’s passed to a few select people to read it and provide feedback. Unfortunately most people don’t know how to properly read a script and identify and solve the issues that are present. The result is each revision is worse than the prior one.
Who should take this seminar? Anyone involved in the film and TV realm. Writers, since they may find themselves being their own analyst or reviewing other writers’ scripts. Producers and directors, you’re the ones working directly with the writer (or writing your own scripts) to ensure the script is at its highest level and potential.
